Naomi R. Cole, age 74, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016. She was born June 7, 1941 in Muskegon Heights to Ray and Margaret (Page) Babcock and attended Muskegon Heights High School. On September 6, 1957 she married Darreld L. Cole, Sr. SURVIVORS include her husband, Darreld; daughter, Barbara A. Cole; son, Darreld L. Cole, Jr. – Vouchny Cole; 5 grandchildren: Andrew (Bethany) Mieczkowski, Michael (Catie) Mieczkowski, Patrick (Kristina) Mieczkowski, Gary Cole, Thresa Cole; 6 great-grandchildren: Zaavan, Tyler, Jay, Malachi, Mackenzie, Asher; brother, David Babcock; 2 sisters: Fredia (Dale) Andrus, and Mary Mouw. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son; and 3 brothers. SERVICES will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 1, 2016 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100. VISITATION with the family will be from 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
