Mrs. Naomi E. Highway's Obituary
Mrs. Naomi E. Highway, 76, passed away Monday morning, January 19, 2015 in Muskegon. She was born April 15, 1938 to James and Zora (Ranney) Johnson in Watertown Twp. and moved to Whitehall from Muskegon in 1969. She was a member of Evangelical Covenant Church of Whitehall, enjoyed quilting and traveling. On January 23, 1965 she married Clarence Highway. SURVIVORS include her husband of almost 50 years, Clarence; 1 sister, Mary Lombard of Montague; 2 sisters-in-law, Janice Highway and Donna Ecklesdafer; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, James and Ranney Johnson. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 24, at the Evangelical Covenant Church of Whitehall, 900 S. Warner, 49461, with Pastor Tom Beeghly officiating. Interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Montague. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
