Mrs. Naomi R. Misner's Obituary
Mrs. Naomi R. Misner, 82, passed away Friday evening, November 7, 2014 in Muskegon. She was born November 2, 1932 to Clarence and Opal (Seals) Johnson in Addington, OK, and lived in the Muskegon area since 1940. Mrs. Misner worked at Coneyland, was a former member of the Port City Saddle Club, enjoyed crafts and cooking. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, and loved ministering to children. On December 2, 1949 she married Jack Misner, Sr., and he preceded her in death on May 5, 2003. SURVIVORS include2 children, Jack (Amy) Misner, Jr. of Muskegon, Linda (Greg) Cooper of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Anthony and Tiffani Whipple; 2 sisters, Wanda (Bill) Miller of Bloomingdale, MI, and Betty Atchison of Kalamazoo. A memorial service will be held November 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, 49442, (231) 726-5210, with Rev. James Swierenga officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Burial has taken place at Laketon Township Cemetery.
