Natalie A. Linstrom's Obituary
Natalie Anne Linstrom, age 77, received her wings while surrounded by family on Tuesday morning, October 3, 2017. Natalie was born on December 8, 1939 in Muskegon, MI to the late Lee and Claudia Roth. Natalie, to all who knew her, was a kind, compassionate and loving woman who treated everyone as if they were family. She married the love of her life, Frederick Linstrom, on September 2, 1961. Many have looked up to Fred and Natalie as a shining example of what a marriage should be. They were holding hands until her very last breath. Natalie has always put family first - nothing was ever more important to her. Holiday celebrations, family picnics on the patio, casino trips with her sister-in-law, and baking Christmas cookies with her great-granddaughters - you would never see her happier than when she was with family. She also valued the many lasting friendships that were made during her 30+ years of selling Avon. Natalie has always been strong in her faith. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church where, over the years, she was active in the choir, Trinity Circle Guild, Ruth Circle, and various other volunteer opportunities. Natalie was an incredible daughter, wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister and friend. She will be forever loved and missed by her husband Fred, children Christine (Alex) Fekete, Brian Linstrom, and Steven (Threasa) Linstrom; granddaughter Melissa (David) Brosco; great-granddaughters Ella and Payton Brosco; sisters Madeleine (Robert) McGreavy and Kathleen (Larry) Morehouse; step-sister Janice (Walter) Swift; and sister-in-law and best friend Brenda Linstrom, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Claudia Roth, step-mother Margaret Roth and brothers-in-law Ron Linstrom and Ross Fenner. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Natalie will take place on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church (3225 Roosevelt Rd.) with visitation an hour prior to the service. For a more lasting memory, donations in Natalie’s name can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church. Feel free to share a memory with the family at www.sytsemafh.com.
