It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Natalie Richardson.
Natalie D Richardson, age 85, Passed away on Wednesday April 5, 2023 in Muskegon surrounded by her loving family. Natalie was born May 24, 1937 to George and Mary. Natalie worked for Amerisure in the claims department for many years before retiring. She also worked for Henry Ruff School in Garden City and Wayne-Westland School district as a lunchroom aide and lead latchkey (day care) aide before and after school. She enjoyed doing that because she got to see her grandsons more. Natalie loved watching the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings with her grandson Steven. Natalie was a big family person - she always put everyone before herself. Natalie had a HUGE heart and will be greatly missed. Natalie is survived by her daughters, Natalie Vanderlaan of Muskegon, Michigan, Laura (Harry) Brem of Maryville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Steven (Ricky) Sandilands of North Muskegon, Michigan, Michael (Stephanie) Sandilands of Muskegon, Michigan, Lisa (Jared) Andersen of Maryville, Tennessee, Eric Brem of Maryville, Tennessee; great grandchildren, Chase, Emma, Reagan; and many nieces and nephews as well as many others. She was preceded in death by her parents George and Mary; brother, Bill Actomick, and sister-in-law, Brenda Actomick. Per Natalie’s wishes, she will be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Huge thanks to Harbor Hospice for their loving care for Natalie.
