Natalie R. Tyson's Obituary
Natalie Roxanne Tyson, age 60, passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. Natalie was born in Muskegon, MI, on September 30, 1963, to Ramone and Linda (Stratton) Tyson, and she lived her whole life there. Natalie was a hard worker and a dedicated employee at Cole’s Quality Foods for 35 years. On April 21, 2011, she married Paul Bessinger, and the two of them shared many wonderful memories together. Natalie was an excellent cook and loved to prepare food for her family. She was also a talented decorator and enjoyed spending time in her garden. She also enjoyed visiting casinos and shopping, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. She was a fighter, a strong woman who would do anything she put her mind to while always putting others’ needs before her own. Natalie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Paul Bessinger; four children: Donald Tyson, Natasha (Christian) Mclemore, Natriece Phillips, and Anthony Bridges; five grandchildren: Damontay, Tamellia, Dontay, Jadiah, and Aniyah; father, Ramone Tyson; two stepchildren: Nick Bessinger and Brittany (Jon) Rabideau; four step-grandchildren: Cayden and Owen Bessinger, and Hailey and Emma Rabideau; brother: Pierre (Tondalaya) Tyson; two sisters: Angela Perry and Jacquese (Cameron) Scott; father in law: Roland Bessinger; and siblings in-law: Diane (Joel) Elam, Craig (Shelly) Bessinger, Tom (Beth) Bessinger, and Sandy Brown. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Knight, and her mother in-law, Lorretta Bessinger. Per Natalie’s wishes, no public services are being held at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Harbor Hospice Foundation. Arrangements by The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd, Muskegon, MI, 49441.
