Nathalie Ida Budnik's Obituary
Nathalie Ida Budnik, age 88, went to meet her Lord and Savior, early Friday morning following a long illness. She was born in Chester Twp., Ottawa County on March 27, 1923 the eldest of seven children to Philip and Matilda (Kraft) Fahling. Nathalie married Emery J. Budnik in Manistee on March 14, 1945 and came to Muskegon later that year. Mr. Budnik preceded her in death on March 8, 1985. Mrs. Budnik was a former volunteer and member of the American Red Cross, Concerned Hearts, Tops, and was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church where she served with the Ladies Aide. She is survived by: her three children, Kenneth (Sandy) Budnik in Texas, Bonnie (Dennis) Rader of Fruitport and John (Wanda) Budnik of Muskegon; seven grandchildren, Sherry, Dennis, Michael, Richard, Nathalie, Kimberly and Tyler; 10 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Roland (Cathola) Fahling, Waldo (Betty) Fahling, Marvin (Betty) Fahling and Philip (Sharon) Fahling; and two sisters, Ruth Andrus and Christine (Bill) Kantola. The funeral service will be held: tomorrow, 11:00 A.M., Monday, February 13th at Grace Lutheran Church, 2651 Shettler Rd., Rev. Timothy J. Winkel officiating. Visitation: will be one hour prior. Interment: Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial: American Heart Association or Grace Lutheran Church. Arrangements by The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100.
