Nathan Allan Dorman's Obituary
Nathan Allan Dorman, age 38, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 in Grand Rapids, MI. He was born October 23, 1984 in Muskegon and was raised by his mother, LuAnn (Dorman) Anderson, and stepfather, Roger Anderson. Nathan was a 2003 graduate of Orchard View High School. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing; and enjoyed shooting pool. Nathan loved his mother’s home cooked meals, was a good-hearted person, and was always willing to help others. But most importantly, he loved his family and spending time with them. SURVIVORS include two children: Hailey M. Dorman and Hayden C. Dorman; mother and stepfather, LuAnn (Roger) Anderson; brother, Scott Anderson; grandmother, Dee Dorman; several aunts, uncle, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Harry Dorman; grandparents: Orville and Rose Anderson; uncle, Don Anderson, and an aunt, Arvilla Gilbert. A Celebration of Nathan’s Life will be held 12:00 Noon Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Olivet Evangelical Free Church – Harvey St. Campus (6790 Harvey St., Spring Lake, MI 49456) with Pastor Craig Cramblet officiating. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place in Egelston Twp. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help defray funeral expenses will be appreciated.
