Neill Thomas Pettinga's Obituary
Neill Thomas Pettinga, age 42, and beloved son of Tom and Dar Pettinga, passed away quietly in his sleep on Sunday evening, October 31, 2021. Neill was born July 26, 1979, in Grand Rapids, MI; and had lived in Illinois and Texas prior to settling in the Holland, MI area 3 years ago. He attended Engedi Church of Holland. Most recently, Neill had been the shipping clerk for Autokiniton of Holland. On May 29, 2004, he married the former Amanda Rhodes, and she survives him along with his parents; two brothers, Stephen and wife Sara Winn of San Antonio, TX and Nathaniel and wife Kelly Steiner, and their sons, Liam and Maxton of Evergreen Park, IL; Aunts and Uncles, Carol Carlson, Sandra and Mitchel Reynolds, Ruth Graham, Carol and Dick Flietstra, Janice Brock, and Bill Willging. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 8, 2021, at Oakland Christian Reformed Church, 4460 38th Street, Hamilton, MI 49419 with the Revs. Larry Slings and Nancy Boote officiating. Visitation with Neill’s family will be from 12 Noon-2:00PM at the church. For a more lasting memorial you are asked to consider Southwest Chicago Christian Schools, 12001 S.
