Nelda (Dynes) Hofmann's Obituary
Mrs. Nelda (Dynes) Hofmann, age 78, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in Muskegon. She was born January 13, 1930 to Joseph A. and Helen (Bassett) Moreau in Boston, MA. She resided in Connecticut for most of her life before moving to Muskegon in 2001. She was a member of McGraft Memorial Congregational Church in Muskegon, and volunteered for the American Red Cross and Volunteer Muskegon. SURVIVORS include son, David (DJ) Dynes of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Eric (fiancée, Lisa Szmansky) Dynes, Justine Marie Dynes; 3 sisters, Erlene Riley of New Hampshire, Ruth Healy of Connecticut, Mary Ann Halford of Utah; brother, Albert Moreau of California; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Hofmann was preceded in death by her husbands, Valentine Dynes in August 1999, and Herbert Hofmann in July 2005. Memorial Services will be held 1 PM Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Talcottville Congregational Church (10 Elm Hill Road) in Talcottville, Connecticut. Burial has taken place in Norton Cemetery in Muskegon, MI.
