Nelda Rae Gilbert's Obituary
Nelda Rae Gilbert age 78 of Ravenna died, Friday, August 13, 2010 at VNS Hospice Home in Muskegon.
Nelda was born on July 24, 1932 in White Cloud, Michigan to the late Theodore and Violet (Westbrook) Handy. She married Arden Gilbert in 1959. He preceded her in death in 2000.
Nelda is survived by: 1 Son: Kenneth (Paula) Gilbert of Ravenna. 2 Daughters: Debra Richmond and Carl Davis of Norton Shores and Nancy Gilbert and Mel Spenceley of Lansing. 4 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. 1 Brother: Brian (Darlene) Handy of Reed City.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Arden, 1 Grandson: Ryan Richmond and Brother: Gary Handy.
Funeral Services for Nelda will be conducted on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at 12:00pm at the Ravenna Baptist Church with Pastor John Rager officiating. Burial will be at Seaman Cemetery.
The family will be at the church from 10:00am until the time of service to greet friends.
