Nellie Bultema's Obituary
Mrs. Nellie Bultema, age 92, passed away Wednesday morning, May 18, 2005. She was born on April 24, 1913 in Reasoner, Iowa to Dirk and Willemina (Roseboom) VanZanten. She was a member of Calvary Bible Church, formerly Church of the Open Door. Prior to her retirement she worked for Annaconda Wire & Cable and also sold Avon products. On March 24, 1937, she married Nicholas Bultema in Muskegon; and he preceded her in death on August 11, 1976. Survivors include 2 brothers, Dirk (Ann) VanZanten and Morris (Monica) VanZanten, of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Elizabeth Fisher and Berdean (Stone) Wright, both of Muskegon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bultema was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, William VanZanten and Berard VanZanten; 4 sisters, Willemina Hinman, Eliza Brimmer, Katherine Williams, and Gertrude Harjer. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210
with Pastor Alvin Harden officiating. VISITATION will be 6 to 8 PM this evening. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
