Nicholas Perez's Obituary
Mr. Nicholas Perez, age 29, died Saturday afternoon, October 3, 2009 at Mercy Hospital. He was born October 10, 1979 in Grand Rapids, MI to Israel and Cindy (Smith) Perez and had resided most of his life in the Muskegon area. Nick was a graduate of Fruitport High School and had been employed at Goodwill Industries. He attended Broadway Baptist Church. Nick enjoyed bowling, fishing and singing and had a love of country music. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cindy Dunn, on September 9, 2005. SURVIVORS include his father, Israel (Carmen) Perez of Wyoming, MI; 3 sisters, Christina Marie Perez and Sandra Lynn Perez of Grand Rapids, Angela Marie Marrero of TX; nieces and nephews, Ariyanna Perez, Isaac Michael Perez, Maricela Publes, Miguel Bentencort, Anastassya Ruis and Jazmine Ruis; his grandfather, Manuel Perez of Grand Rapids; many uncles and aunts, Wendell (Belinda) Smith of Coopersville, Buck Kittel and Eddie John McCloskey of North Muskegon, George (Rose) Perez, Manuel (Alba) Perez, Jr., Shirley Anne Perez, “Tencha” Sanchez and Eloisa Sanchez, all of Grand Rapids, John Perez and Pete (Peggy) Perez of Muskegon; and by many cousins and extended family. FUNERAL SERVICES for Nick will be held 11AM Wednesday at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442 (231-726-5210)with Pastor Don Letson officiating. Burial will be in Egelston Twp. Cemetery. VISITATION with Nick’s family will be 2-4 & 6-8PM Tuesday. MEMORIAL GIFTS to Broadway Baptist Church will be appreciated.
