Nicholas A. Lazzaro's Obituary
Mr. Nicholas Albert Lazzaro, age 77, passed away at his home Wednesday, January 13, 2010. Nick was born October 19, 1932 to Phillip and Florence (Hess) Dispensa in Chicago, IL. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. On December 6, 1982 he married the former Patricia Krauss and she survives him. Nick was employed as a welder for Pre Marc for 25 years. He enjoyed woodworking and had a wonderful collection of eagles and beer steins. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, Chicago Bears and Notre Dame Football. Nick was also a past board member of the Muskegon Portofino Lodge. Besides his wife, Patricia, Nick is survived by a step-son, Joe (Kim) Zimmerman of Kalamazoo; 4 grandchildren, Joseph, Jake, Justice and Mackenzie; 1 brother, Edward Lazzaro; and 2 sisters, Rose Mary and Jo Jo; and several nieces and nephews. Nick was preceded in death by his parents; his step-son, Paul; granddaughter, Rebecca; brother, Phillip; sister, Pauline and 2 canines, Butch & Calvin.
