I really didn't know Nicks' personality...But I was fortunate enough to hear family and friends at the Memorial Service talk about him and their personal experiences. After hearing the many stories from so many dear people, I wish I would have gotten to know him better. I know we could have become closer friends.

It is so hard when we lose a loved one so early in life. Having lost my mother at such a young age, I always wondered what she advise she would give me. When I had my children, I was sorry she wasn't there to share this special moment and many memories with me as I know you will some day. But God has a reason for everything. I just found out about Nick's passing. I'm feeling very sad, but thinking about the 'good times'. Even though Nick and I have been split up for many years, we were still friends. Although sometimes "grumpy" at times :), he had a funny sense of humor and was a fair and good person-always willing to help someone out -especially with car work!!
