Nicholas "Nick" Kenneth Iverson's Obituary
Nicholas “Nick” Kenneth Iverson, age 20, of Grand Haven, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at a Grand Rapids hospital. Nick was born December 18, 1987 to Adel Yousef Hamadeh and Collette Suzanne Iverson in Muskegon, Michigan. Until recently moving to Grand Haven, Nick lived in the Fruitport area most of his life.
Nick was a graduate of Fruitport High School and was employed by Jack’s Restaurant in Spring Lake as a chef for the past three years. He loved to hunt and fish, play hockey, play bass guitar, and “hang out with his crew”. Nick enjoyed nature and animals, especially Beagles. He attended the Forest Park Covenant Church in Muskegon.
Nick is survived by his mother; Collette Taylor of Spring Lake; his father, Adel Yousef Hamadeh; his step-father, Dale (Susan) Taylor of Grand Haven; his grandparents Richard (Karen) Iverson of Fruitport; his great grandmother, Eliene Cloud of Crystal Valley, MI; two brothers, Spenser Taylor and Chase Taylor of Spring Lake; three aunts, Nicolle (Gene) VanDyke of Chicago, IL, Kelly (Ken) Griswold of Muskegon, Bridgett (Chris) Smith of Slocum, AL; and numerous cousins.
The funeral service for Nick will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Forest Park Covenant Church in Muskegon with Rev. Paul Bengtson officiating. Friends may meet the family prior to the service at the church from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions to the Family Memorial Fund are appreciated.
