Nicholas Robert Archer, Jr.'s Obituary
Nick was born to Nick & Brenda Archer on February 23,1983. He was a loving son, a fantastic brother, a spectacular uncle, an ideal nephew, and most importantly, an incredible father; and a loving mate to Hillary Zayaz, whom he was to marry on December 17, 2004. Nick was a gifted musician, as is his father, a very good pool player, whom none of his friends could beat; and a fisherman, though the fish were always quite safe from him. He was a friend to so many that the hearts of his friends and family may never heal. There are no words that can express our anguish, but it will be our job to make sure that his son, Chase, is raised in his image. God took him from us physically, but He will never wrestle away our love and memories Nicholas is survived by his fiancée, Hillary Zayaz; his son, Chase Andrew Archer; his sister, Brooke (Robert) Bilek; his parents, Nick and Brenda; his grandparents, Dee (Jerry) Hammond, Robert Newell, and Ruth Archer, all of Muskegon; 2 nephews and a niece; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Nick was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert M. Archer - may their fishing skills improve together. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held 11AM Wednesday, December 1,2004 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 541 S. Getty St, Muskegon, with Rev. Fr. Michael Olsen as Celebrant. VISITATION will be 6-8 PM Tuesday evening at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Please consider a MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTION to the care fund for Chase Andrew Archer through Shoreline Federal Credit Union - so that he may explore his full potential, undoubtedly as a musician, and also as the same kind of caring man as was his father.
