Mrs. Nieves M. Campal's Obituary
Mrs. Nieves M. Campal, age 90, passed away December 22, 2017 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. Nieves was born April 8, 1927, in Pinar del Rio, Cuba to Vincent and Paula (Ramos) Garcia. On November 21, 1954, Nieves married Serafin Campal in Havana, Cuba, and he preceded her in death on February 27, 2005. Nieves was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Nieves is survived by her daughter, Teresita (Frank) Kule of Norton Shores; grandchildren; Jeannette (Nicholas) Bunda, Paula Marie Kule, and Frank Kule; great grandchildren, Jackson, Sloane and Beau Bunda. Nieves was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Isidro Garcia. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 3 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. 231-798-1100, with Rev. Fr. Norman Droski presiding VISITATION will be one hour prior to the service (2-3 PM). Burial will take place in Norton Cemetery.
