Master Nikolas William Wypa's Obituary
Master Nikolas William Wypa, 6 years old, passed away very suddenly on Monday, June 4, 2012 while doing what he really enjoyed – playing on the playground with his friends. Nikolas was born March 23, 2006, in Muskegon to David and Lisa (Bodenberg) Wypa. He was finishing his kindergarten year at Churchill Elementary in the Mona Shores School District. Nikolas enjoyed collecting Matchbox cars & trailers, riding his bike and power jeep, and playing with tractors. He always looked up to his big brother Lucas, mimicking everything he did. They loved building forts, swimming, wrestling, camping and hiking at the Elks Park. Nikolas was a very active and busy boy – a real social butterfly! He made friends very easily and loved his best friends, Chesney Robbins and Rebecca Griswold. Nikolas was also a very active member of Lake Harbor United Methodist Church where he attended with his family. SURVIVORS include his parents, David and Lisa Wypa; his big brother, Lucas Wypa; grandparents, William & Carol Bodenberg, Anthony & DeeAnna Wypa; aunts and uncles, Patti & Jeff Hilton, Scott Bodenberg (and his yellow lab, Oliver), Karen Clark, Tony Wypa, Jr., Kathy & Jim Alderink, Mark & Jane Wypa; cousins, Steven Clark, Jessica & Alex Bodenberg, Josh Hilton, Mary & Matthew Alderink, Lily & Ava Wypa; his neighborhood friends, Charlie, Jack, Liz, Dave & Barb, Ken & Ruth, Terry & Carol; and a host of loving extended family and friends. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Lake Harbor United Methodist Church (4861 Henry St.) with Pastor Mark R. Erbes officiating. VISITATION will be 2-4 and 6-8 PM Friday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey Street, (231) 798-1100. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be directed to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
