Mrs. Nina Arlene DeVries' Obituary
Mrs. Nina Arlene DeVries, age 78, passed away Sunday morning, November 17, 2013 at a Grand Rapids care facility. Nina was born April 29, 1935 in Muskegon to Charles and Daisey (Haase) Fricke. In March of 1955, she married Ronald M. DeVries and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2004. Nina attended Trinity Baptist Church for many years and was a wonderful homemaker and grandmother. As a hobby, she enjoyed rebuilding and refinishing furniture. Nina is survived by her children, Brian L. DeVries of Ravenna, Mark A. (Shelly) DeVries of Muskegon, Martin R. (Kathy) DeVries of Twin Lake and Bruce E. DeVries of Fruitport; 4 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Thomas (Cheryl) Fricke of Twin Lake and Nelson (Peggy) Fricke of Muskegon; a sister, Maxine (Tom) Buck of Grand Haven; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Ronald, Nina was preceded in death by her parents. A VISITATION will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2013 from 4-8 PM at
