Noah James Bothe's Obituary
Noah James Bothe, age 5, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, April 30, 2023. He passed away peacefully due to complications from hydrocephalus. Noah was born in Grand Rapids to Carl and Sarah (Postema) Bothe. He loved the TV show Word Party, and he gave it his full attention when it was on. Noah loved dogs, going on walks, splashing in water, and cuddling with his big sister. Noah was a determined young man that would figure out a way to accomplish anything he wanted. He will be remembered as a loving boy with a contagious laugh and smile, and he will be deeply missed. Noah’s legacy will continue to live on in many others due to his family’s generous donation through Gift of Life. He is survived by his loving parents, Carl and Sarah Bothe; sisters, Chloe and Charlotte; grandparents, James and Lorraine Postema and Steve Bothe; great-grandma, Florence Postema; aunts and uncles, Katie Postema and Orrin Harrington Jr., Benjamin and Ashley Postema, Marianna and Kenny Young, Jamie Postema and Matt Medema, Peter Postema, Steven and Susan Bothe, and Jeff Bothe; and cousins, Braylen McGrady, Landon Young, Bryce Young, Maylee Postema, Austin Postema, and Annie Bothe. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Bothe; grandma, Pamela Bothe; aunt, Patricia Bothe; and great-grandpa, Edward Postema. VISITATION will be from 2-5 PM Sunday, May 7, 2023 at The Ravenna Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 3570 Thomas St., Ravenna, MI 49451 and from 10-11AM Monday at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church. The ROSARY will be prayed at 1:30PM Sunday at The Ravenna Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held 11AM Monday, May 8, 2023 at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church, 12236 Heights Ravenna Rd., Ravenna, MI 49451 with Fr. Andrew Ayers presiding.
