Noella L. Mahn's Obituary
Mrs. Noella L. Mahn, age 80, passed away in Fremont, November 16, 2007. She was born October 23, 1927 in Muskegon Heights to Remi Henry and Alida (Delbar) D’Hondt and has been a resident of the area all of her life. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church where she served as a lay distributor and was active in the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans #843 Ladies Auxiliary and Don Rea V.F.W Post #8846 Ladies Auxiliary. Mrs. Mahn loved doing ceramics and needlepoint and spending time with her family. Over the years, Mrs. Mahn was employed by Shaw Box Crane, Orchard View Public Schools – Special Ed and Muskegon Piston Ring before retiring. On June 14, 1947, she married Arthur “Jack” Mahn in Muskegon and he survives her along with 3 children, Douglas Arthur (Julia) Mahn of Holland, Mark Anthony (Patricia) Mahn of Muskegon and Bruce Allen (Charlotte) Mahn of Muskegon; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 nieces Chris Albreght and Connie Penland. She was preceded in death by her grandson Shane Allen Mahn, and one sister Marie VanDragt. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Michael P. Olson presiding. Visitation will take place Monday from 6-8PM at
