Noreen Ayotte's Obituary
Mrs. Noreen L. Ayotte, age 65, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, September 29, 2004 at her home. She was born August 15, 1939 in Springfield, IL, was raised in Muskegon, and spent 20 years in Illinois before moving back to Muskegon 6 years ago. She worked for Kemper Insurance Company for 18 years before retiring, and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Noreen married her husband of 44 years, James Ayotte on December 10, 1960 in Muskegon, and he survives her along with 2 sons, David (Angelique) Ayotte of Marengo, IL, Cliff Ayotte of Grant; 5 grandchildren, Joe (Keely) of Rockford, IL, Mike, Brianna, Phillip, and Nick of Marengo, IL; 3 great grandchildren; her mother, Thelma Carlson of Muskegon; brother, David (Marge) Watkins of Twin Lake; mother-in-law, Mary Ayotte of Muskegon; step-brothers, Steve Carlson of Fremont, Gary, Mike, and Denny Carlson of Casnovia; in-laws, Kay (Bob) Ferenz of Muskegon, Char Wiersma of Grand Haven; aunt, Peggy White of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert, and her step-father, Cliff Carlson. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday morning at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 1547 W. Sherman Blvd.,(231) 759-8565, with the Rev. Fr. Robert A. Hart officiating. VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the service.
