Mrs. Noreen Joy Hewitt's Obituary
Mrs. Noreen Joy Hewitt, age 67, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at her home. She was born in Muskegon on September 30, 1945 to Morey A. and Alleyne O. (Dennis) Cook and was a life resident of the area. After raising her children, Noreen worked over 25 years for Fruitport Community Schools as a Bus Driver and Noon Mom. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, her friends, and her co-workers. On April 30, 1965, Noreen married Larry Dean Hewitt and he survives her along with their children, Larry (Amy) Hewitt, II, Lori (Carl) Hager, Tina Ingersoll, and Troy Hewitt; 7 grandchildren, Alyssa, Cory, Kyle, Dean, Samantha, Taylor, and Devin; 3 brothers, Gene (Myra) Cook, Dennis (Debbie) Cook, and Morey (Sharon) Cook; and 4 sisters, Eunice (William) Ball, Sharon Lepley, Rebecca (Joseph) Babcock, and Hope Reed. She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 brother, John Cook. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday at Family Bible Church (1256 W. Broadway) with Rev. Jerry DePoy officiating. VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS to Family Bible Church would be appreciated.
