Norine Marie Clark's Obituary
Norine Marie Clark, age 82, of Ravenna, MI passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at home surrounded by loved ones. Norine was born on September 19, 1942, in Detroit, MI to Leon and Norma (Silsby) Kerr. She enjoyed reading, was instrumental in teaching music through piano and organ and was deeply involved in her church through organizing and coordinating events. Norine spent 30+ years teaching at Updyke and Beechnau Elementary School in Ravenna where she invested and left lasting impressions with those she taught. Norine married Wayne R. Clark in Ravenna, MI. on June 1, 1968, and spent 44+ wonderful years together. Norine is survived by; one son, Andrew Clark; three daughters: Debbie (Scott Vandonkelaar) Smith, Pam (Tony Elliott) Wheeler, and Amy (Tim) Bublitz; 5 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren and special dog named Glory. Norine is preceded in death by her parents: Leon and Norma Kerr; husband, Wayne R. Clark; three brothers: Jerome Kerr, Leonard Kerr and Paul Kerr. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Beacon Light Community Church, 6031 E. Apple, Muskegon, MI. 49442, on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM with VISITATION from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM. Burial will be at the Sullivan Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Norine’s memory to Hospice of Michigan or Beacon Light Community Church.
