Norma J. Graves' Obituary
Norma Jean Graves passed away peacefully on December 1, 2014 after her long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease. She was born in Cadillac, Michigan to Earl and Violet (Towers) Nelson on May 5, 1929. At age 16, she moved to Midland, Michigan where she met the love of her life, Donald Graves. They married on September 27, 1947. They had many happy years together until Don passed on October 25, 2002. She worked in the medical field and was an office manager for Dr. Robert Packer, M.D. Norma is survived by her daughter Jean (Paul) Wishka, grandchildren Andrew (Shauna) Wishka, Megan (Joe) Grelewicz and their children and her great grandchildren Evan and Drew. She also has a brother Tom Nelson of Fort Worth, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Donna Elaine Baker. A heartfelt thanks to the staff of DaySpring Assisted Living and especially to her caregivers in Lake Wood who made her last few yaers enjoyable. Please remember her fondly and that smile she had until the very end. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice, or to Harbor Hospice. A private service will take place.
