Mrs. Norma G. Houseman's Obituary
Mrs. Norma G. Houseman ( Ryefield) , age 70, passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 19th, 2014. . She was born November 16, 1943 to Max and Phyllis (Brown) Ryefield in Muskegon, and lived her whole life here. Mrs. Houseman worked at The Muskegon Chronicle for over 18 years. She loved her best friend and husband of more than 53 years, children, and grandchildren. Norma was an avid Detroit Tigers fan and never missed a game. She loved her dogs, yellow tulips, and spoiling her grandchildren.. On September 22, 1960 Norma married Roger John Houseman Sr. who precedes her in death. Her 3 children survive her; Rhonda (Paul) DeMello of Charlotte, NC and their children Erin and Adam; Roger (Angela) Houseman II of S. Lyon, MI and their children Derek, John, Abreil, Raquel, Brennen, and Corbin; Kevin (Heather) Houseman of Hesperia and their children BJ, Jordan, Kaylee, Caleb, Conner, and Destiny; 1 brother, Randy ( Jane) Ryefield of Muskegon ; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, 1 brother and sister.
