Mrs. Norma Jean Pickard's Obituary
Mrs. Norma Jean Pickard, age 87, passed away Saturday afternoon, February 16, 2019, at her home. Norma was born October 21, 1931 to Donald and Alice (Forester) Frentner in Ypsilanti, MI. She married Robert Pickard on November 8, 1952 and he preceded her in death on March 2, 2016. Norma taught school for more than 26 years in the Reeths Puffer School District prior to her retirement. She enjoyed golf, arts & crafts and time spent with her family. She is survived by her sons, Robert Pickard Jr. and Randall (Dixie) Pickard; son-in-law, Edward Pickard; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Carol Frentner. Norma was also preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Relen and Rachen Pickard; sister, Virginia Alice Black; and a brother, Donald Frentner Jr. A Private Burial will take place at Mona View Cemetery.
