Norman John Foy's Obituary
Mr. Norman John Foy, age 81, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020 at his home following a one-year battle with lung cancer. Norm was born in Muskegon on June 11, 1938 to John and Eleanor (Blaske) Foy. He had been employed as a salesman for Lakeshore Beverage for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 1999. Norm enjoyed traveling and studying WWI, WWII, and Civil War history, being especially knowledgeable with WWII. On June 5, 1965, Norm married the former Charlene C. Taylor in Muskegon and she survives him along with his brother, David (Debra) Foy; two sisters, Joanne Penny and Darlene Osbo; and several nieces and nephews. According to Norm’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Burial will be in Norton Cemetery. MEMORIALS in Norm’s memory may be directed to the Harbor Hospice Foundation. Norm’s family would like to thank Harbor Hospice for their support and care, and extend a special thanks to Norm’s nurse, Christina.
