Mr. Norman D. Peterman's Obituary
Mr. Norman D. Peterman, age 58, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2013 in Grand Rapids. Norm was born September 22, 1955 to Donald and Geneva (Buter) Peterman in Muskegon, and was a life resident. He worked as a LPN for Bio Blood Components for the past 8 years, and previously had worked in several area nursing homes. He had been a member of the former First Christian Reformed Church, enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. On October 12, 1979 Norm married Barbara J. VanderStelt, and she survives him along with 2 children, Todd Peterman and Jamie Peterman, both of Muskegon; 2 brothers, David (Mary) Peterman of Twin Lake, Gordon (Carol) Peterman of Muskegon; 1 sister, Sharlene (Jay) Tans of Stanton; 1 sister-in-law, Pat (Don) Pimley of Muskegon; 1 brother-in-law, LeRoy VanderStelt of Cutlerville; several nieces and nephews. Norm was preceded in death by his mother and father. A service celebrating Norm’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, 49444,(231) 798-1100. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening, and 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
