Olive Jean Heath's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Olive Jean Heath (DeWolf), aged 75, of Muskegon, Michigan, who passed away on May 13th, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Olive (Jean) was born on November 20, 1949, to Charles and Callie DeWolf. She grew up in Muskegon and graduated from Orchard View High School in 1968. That following summer she met the love of her life, Larry Heath. They married the following year in December, right before he was drafted into the military and sent to Germany where she would later join him. They would then have their first child, Jennifer. She spent her life being a dedicated mother to Jennifer and Larry Jon. Although, the highlight of her life was being a loving grandmother to her four grandchildren. Beyond her professional life, Olive was known for being an avid golfer, where she was able to accomplish four hole in ones in her lifetime. Some of her best memories stem from playing cards with her best friends and family. Olive absolutely loved to play with her grand dogs Jack and Roro. Olive’s favorite time of year was Christmas, she loved to bake cookies with her daughter and granddaughter. She was always the life of the party and made everyone feel special. She loved being with her family and never missed an event. She is survived by her husband Larry, daughter Jennifer, son Larry, son in law David Goodell, her grandchildren: Kirsty Goodell, Daniel Goodell, Grace Goodell, Gabriel Goodell, and great grandchild Jaymeson, her sisters: Carol Loomis and Charlotte Watson; brother John (Donna) DeWolf; brother-in-law, Brad (Rebecca) Heath; sister-in-law Barbra Lovass; sister-in-law Marilyn DeWolf; brother-in-law Dan Watson, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, brother Charles DeWolf, sister Helen Watson, brother-in-law Bob Loomis, and brother-in-law Rick Watson. VISITATION will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 16, 2025, at The Lee Chapel, 6291 Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI. 49444 with a MEMORIAL SERVICE at 3pm. Olive will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
