Ollie Ann Spier's Obituary
Mrs. Ollie A. Spier, age 74, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on August 15, 2018 after surviving a long courageous battle with lung disease. Ollie was born as Ollie Ann Pierce in Corning, Arkansas. She was a loyal member of the Grace Memorial Baptist Church. Who knew that a blind date would lead her to the love of her life. On November 8, 1963, she married Fredrick Spier, and he preceded her in death on April 15, 2013. SURVIVIORS include four children, Cynthia (Dave) Gilleo, Brenda (Todd) Neuman, Dean Spier, and Dale (Vicky) Spier; nine grandchildren, Danielle (Will Burleson) Gilleo, MéChelle (Devin) Kammers, Amanda (Logan Murphy) Gilleo, Christopher (Sam) Spier, Jessee Spier, Chrysta (Matt Irey) Kelley, RaeLynne Kelley, Kole Spier, Kaden Spier; six great grandchildren, Aiyanna Murphy, Jasper Genter, Ruger Spier, Kinsley Spier, Emerson Spier and Colton Kelley; honorary grandson, Devin Lueder; honorary granddaughters, Alyssa and Emerson Neuman; brother, Gary Doyle and many nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Ollie was also preceded in death by her sister, Lois (Pierce) Willea in 1991. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11AM Saturday, August 18, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with Pastor Jeff Helbert officiating. VISITATION will be 6-8 PM Friday, and 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
