Orville "Rusty" Kolberg Jr.'s Obituary
Orville "Rusty" Kolberg Jr., age 72, passed away on April 15, 2018. He was born on December 19, 1944 to Orville "Walter" and Rozella (Mitchell) Kolberg in Muskegon. Rusty served his county in the US Navy. He owned and operated Kolberg Concrete for almost 50 years with his son, Tim. Rusty enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing cars, camping and woodworking. On May 8, 1967 he married Sharon Minch and she survives him along with 4 children, Tammy Gallegos, James (Robin) Kolberg, Rhonda (Paul) Hansen, Timothy (Nicole) Kolberg and beloved granddaughter, Destiny Kolberg; 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 6 siblings, Sharon Waller, William Kolberg, Judy (Gerry) Brooks, Charlie (Jill) Kolberg, Ruby Botten, Terry (Rhonda) Kolberg and special friends, James Ryan and Dean Masten. Rusty was preceded in death by his parents; grandfather, William "Bill" Kolberg and brothers, Allen and Brian Kolberg. A FUNERAL SERVICE with Military Rites (graveside) will take place 1:00 PM Thursday, April 19, 2018 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., 231-726-5210. VISITATION with the family will be 5-8PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. BURIAL will take place at Egelston Township Cemetery.
