Oscar Gallegos' Obituary
Mr. Oscar Gallegos, age 38, passed away Friday, April 9, 2004 at his home. He was born November 23, 1965 in Muskegon to Manuel and Maria (Rodriguez) Gallegos and lived in the Muskegon area his entire life. He worked for Total Logistics as a supervisor. He also attended Spring Lake Wesleyan Church. SURVIVORS include his 4 children, Amber Archer, Derek, Daniel and Devon Gallegos; his mother and step-father, Maria “Vicki” and Ron Strayer of Fruitport; 1 brother, Juan Gallegos of Spring Lake; 1 sister, Letisia (Shelly King) Gallegos of Coopersville; 1 step-brother, Jack Strayer of Kuwait; 4 step-sisters, Shawn Tate of Muskegon, Kerri (Kevin) Aney of Ravenna, Amber (Jim) Shull of Ravenna, Rebecca (Brent) Gauthier of Montague; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Manuel Gallegos. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, April 15, 2004 at the Sytsema Funeral Home, 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210. VISITATION with Oscar’s family will be one hour prior to the service, 12-1 PM Thursday. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be given to the American Diabetes Association.
