Owen "Chuck" Bickford's Obituary
Mr. Owen “Chuck” Bickford, age 69, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009 at Mercy Hospital. He was born on August 27, 1939 to John and Evelyn (Block) Bickford in Waltham, MA. He was an avid ham radio operator and carried the call sign KG8CF. On April 29, 1961 he married Sandra Huddlestun in Muskegon, and she preceded him in death on April 29, 2001. SURVIVORS include 5 daughters, Michelle Richards, Renae Bickford, Colleen Platt, Tiffany Bickford and Brandi Bickford, all of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-children. Chuck was also preceded in death by 1 grandson and 1 great-granddaughter, Autumn Rayne. MEMORIAL GATHERING will be held August 3, 2009 at the VFW Post # 3195 (5209 Grand Haven Rd.) from 11 AM to 4 PM with lunch being served at 12 noon.
