Pamela K. Dibble's Obituary
Pamela K. (Calkins) Dibble, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and follower of Christ, passed peacefully on April 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family. She was born on June 5, 1947, in Grayling, Michigan, to William Perrin Calkins and Ida Edith (Coldiron) Calkins. She is survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Robert A. Dibble, and their children: Marcus Allen Dibble (Rachel) and Christi Yvette Dibble Osmolinski (Steven). She was preceded in death by their beloved daughter, Lori Michelle Dibble, who passed away at the age of 56 on March 9, 2024.
Pamela was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought joy and meaning to her life.
Throughout her life, Pamela held many jobs, each one bringing unique blessings. Yet, she often said her most cherished role was that of a wife and mother to her treasured family. Her greatest joy was marrying her childhood sweetheart, Robert, on February 9, 1964. Robert proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Mt. McKinley, where he completed two tours in Vietnam as a Boatswain, helping to navigate and manage crew operations in challenging waters.
Pamela’s faith was the foundation of her life. She found deep fulfillment in her relationship with Jesus Christ and rejoiced in the abundant life they shared together through Him. She gave thanks for God's mercy and grace, and she held fast to the truth of the Gospel—that Jesus Christ died for the sins of all, was buried, rose again, and lives today. “Hallelujah! What a Savior!”
In her own words: “Precious beginnings, like the dawn of a new day sprinkled with mist from a fresh spring rain—that is the beauty of my life as God works His will, bringing all things to His glory (Philippians 2:13). My prayer is that the Lord will touch your heart as you read these thoughts and memories. This is my gift to my loved ones: seek the Lord in all you do. Do your best for Him, even when it’s hard. From our human perspective, it may seem difficult— but with God, all things are possible.”
Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” – John 14:6
