Pamela Ann Gould's Obituary
On the early morning of October 6, 2023, at Hartwood Lodge in Muskegon, Michigan, at the age of 79, our beloved Pamela Ann Gould (Skok) passed away. Pamela was born on June 10, 1944, in Muskegon, Michigan to George and Bernadette Skok.
She wore many hats and went by many names: Pam, Mom, Aunt Pam, Mimi and Gigi and she wore each one with pride and commitment, calling and writing often to check in, chat, and give words of advice as needed. To know her was to know a comforting word, a loving embrace, a mouth-watering home-cooked meal, and a hilarious story, recounted with no detail missed. She was a talented painter, book of knowledge, lover of Scotland, Ireland, and England cultures of which she visited with her mother and daughter many years prior and could often be found with a crochet hook or a cigarette in her hand. No one had more beautiful penmanship and she could sing like an angel. She loved with her entire heart and nothing less. She welcomed any and every person into her company and had an unmatched wit, charm, and wisdom that, now absent, will leave many conversations lacking in the color and flavor she brought to the table.
Of her family, she leaves behind the grieving hearts of her Son Robert (Judy) Gould, Her daughter Carolyn Touchet (Gould), Grandchildren Christopher Anderson, Arielle (Jonathan) Bisson (Anderson), Taylor and Pierce Touchet, and Great-Grandchildren Jayden, Jaymes, Scarlytt and Ryan. Her brother Harry (Janet) Skok and Nieces, Jennifer, Jill and Denise, and Nephew Brian. Many other family members, cousins, and friends will surely carry her in their memories as well.
There are countless others whose lives she touched deeply that will, undoubtedly, remember her with fondness and warmth. We will all miss her more than these words can describe, especially her cooking and the smell of Avon perfume and tobacco in her warm and loving embrace.
Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 14, 2023 followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 PM at Community of Christ Church, 2671 Ducey Street, Muskegon, MI 49442. Arrangements handled by The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444. Sign the online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com
