Pamela Jill Olson's Obituary
Pamela Olson was a lifelong resident of Muskegon and passed away on June 20, 2022, from complications from Alzheimer’s disease and Pancreatic Cancer. Pam was born on August 22, 1947, to Ralph and Clarice (Mallory) Parm. Pam’s career was a homemaker where she devoted her life to caring for her family. Pam is survived by her husband of 55 years Kenneth Olson; her two daughters, Roberta (Jody) and Gerald Bushen, Beth and Brent Berson; her son, Troy Olson; also, her two grandchildren, Brent Berson and Nicholas Bushen; her in-laws, Sharon Cochran, Diane Parm, Debra (Daniel) Brink, Kay Olson, Sheryl (John) Mitchell, Wayne (Brigitte) Olson, and Diane (Troy Stanhope) Olson along with several nieces and nephews. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Clarice Parm; her mother and father-in-law, Elmer and Winifred Olson; infant daughter, Rebecca; her three brothers, Floyd Cochran, Allen Cochran, Ralph Parm; her sister, Joanne Betlejewski; her sister-in-law, Carmelita Cochran; and brother-in-law, Robert Betlejewski. Pam enjoyed shopping with her daughters, going to garage sales, playing bingo, and spending time with her family. Pam loved to make people laugh and she will be greatly missed by all of those she left behind. Per Pam’s wishes, a private memorial will take place with her family with interment at East Dalton Oakhill Cemetery.
