Pamela Ann Rey's Obituary
Pamela Ann Rey, age 59, passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at a local care facility. She was born December 17, 1952 in Muskegon to Frank and Rose (Mogdis) Rey. Pamela graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central High School in 1971 and received her LPN degree in 1973. She was employed at Mercy General Health Partners as a Medical Surgical Nurse for 23 years prior to receiving her degree as a Registered Nurse in 1995. She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Pam was an avid Muskegon hockey fan and attended almost all of the Catholic Central football games. She is survived by her mother, Rose Ann Rey of Muskegon; 2 sisters, Nancy (Rob) Ptacek of Chesaning, MI and Kimberley (Todd) Jelinek of N. Muskegon; her special aunt, Dee Veselits of Muskegon; several nieces, 1 nephew and 1 grand-niece. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Monday, 11:00 a.m. at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St.,(231) 798-1100 , Fr. Thomas J. Brown officiating. VISITATION will begin 1 hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
