Pamela R. Sipe's Obituary
Mrs. Pamela Rene´ Sipe, age 72, of Muskegon passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021. She was born in Muskegon, Michigan on December 5, 1948 to Sam and Mina (Hendricks) Schutter, and married Keith Duane Sipe on May 1, 1970.
Pam will be remembered for her sense of humor, longing for palm trees and the beach, competitive nature and enduring love for her family. She was employed by Muskegon Christian Schools for close to 20 years. While there, she coached girls basketball, softball and track, and held roles as the athletic director, physical education teacher and facilitated the Gifted and Talented Program. She would later work for Harborwood Family Medicine, where she created long lasting friendships.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Keith Sipe; son Brian (Samantha) Sipe; daughter Mindy (Kevin) DeMott; grandchildren, Samuel, Jack, Owen Sipe and Kendell DeMott; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers Larry and Donald Schutter.
The funeral service for Pam will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100 with Pastor Lou Roossien officiating. Visitation will be Friday, December 3, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. at The Lee Chapel, and one hour prior to funeral on Saturday. Interment will take place at the Fort Custer National Cemetery.
