Pamela Ann "Annie" Wachtor's Obituary
Pamela Ann “Annie” Wachtor, age 42, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024. She was born July 9, 1981 in Muskegon to Mark T. VanDyke and Nora E. Wolf and was a lifelong resident of the area. Annie attended Ross Medical School and previously worked as a nurse’s aide for Mercy Hospital. On June 18, 2005, she married Robert E. “Bob” Wachtor in Muskegon. She enjoyed extensive traveling with her husband to places like Crystal Vista, Crater of Diamonds, Deadwood, SD, and the State of Montana. Survivors include her loving husband, Bob Wachtor; her mother, Nora (Donald) Wilke; her father, Mark (Deborah VanderHaag) VanDyke; her sisters, Kendra Best, Jacklyn VanDyke; her sister-in-law, Suzy (Rich) Brown; her nieces, Brooklyn VanDyke, Madelyn LaVasseur, Madison Chernugal, Braylen Nelson; and her nephew, Jayden Johnson. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Timothy Wachtor; and her in-laws, Robert and Patricia Wachtor. A Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, February 2, 2024 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at East Dalton-Oakhill Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Pound Buddies (www.poundbuddies.org).
