Mrs. Pamela Kay Williams' Obituary
Mrs. Pamela Kay Williams, age 68, passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 at her home. Pam was born August 28, 1949 in Grand Haven to Robert and Beatrice (Bird) Rettinhouse, and raised and nurtured by her step-father, Caryle “Red” Johnson. She had worked as a systems analyst at Mercy Hospital for 35 years prior to her retirement in 2016. On September 2, 2000, she married Michael Williams and he survives her. Pam was longtime member of Covenant Community Church where she served as a deacon and, for many years, as part of the Covenant Auction for Missions committee. Faith, family and her church were her life’s foundation. She also enjoyed all the time spent throughout the years with her gal pals. Pam was part of de Colores #36, and also served as rectoress on de Colores #142. She is survived by her loving husband, Mike; children, Lisa Weaver-Woodruff of Muskegon, Amber DeLong of N. Muskegon, Gregory Weaver of Muskegon, Leanna (David) Schwartz of Jackson, MI, Kimberly Ann (Billy) Sheets of Kansas City, KS; grandchildren, Zachary Michael, Anthony Raymond, Kaitlyn Marie Sperry, Ashton Jacob Swartz, Benjamin, Kaydon and Nathaniel Overbay ; 2 great-grandchildren, Mia Lynn and Macy May Sperry; a brother, Larry Johnson of Nunica; a sister Robin (Grayling) VanderVelde of Tampa FL; sister-in-law, Christine Johnson; nieces and nephews, Tamara Yonkers, Stormy and Ryan Johnson, and Robert Rettinhouse. Pam was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Sherry Yonkers; and 2 brothers, Scott Johnson and Sam Rettinhouse. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 AM Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Covenant Community Church, 134 E. Barney Ave., Muskegon Hts., with Pastors Miriam Bush and Mark Bush officiating.
