Patricia M. Bartos' Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Patricia Bartos, age 76, announces her peaceful passing on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 after a battle with cancer. She was born on February 27, 1942 to Stephen and Mary (Zmuda) Oravetz in Detroit, MI. Patricia was a generous, caring and energetic person, who always thought of others first. She adored cooking and spending time with her beloved family. On June 20, 1964, she married the love of her life, Larry Bartos, and they spent 54 happy years together. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry; children, Renee (Steve) Samp, Laura (Jeff) Grevel, Patti (Don) Fellows, Andy (Beth) Bartos; and the greatest joys of her life – her 10 grandkids, Madi, Zach, Abby, Megan, Alyssa, Drew, Jolie, Grayson, Cullen, Makenna; sister, Mary Ann (Bill) Orban. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Michael Oravetz and; aunt, Olga Zmuda. VISITATION with Patricia’s family will take place on Thursday, November 15, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 with a rosary to be prayed at 5:00 PM. A FUNERAL MASS will take place on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (2929 McCracken St.) with visitation one hour prior to mass. For a more lasting memory, donations in Patricia’s name can be made to either the American Cancer Society or the St. Jude Children’s Hospital, because she loved all children.
