Patricia A. Chittenden's Obituary
Patricia A. (Laman) Chittenden, age 81, of Spring Lake passed away May 19, 2016, at Robbinswood Assisted Living Center. She was born April 20, 1935, to Clarence and Margaret Laman in Grand Haven. She married Dale E. Chittenden 62 years ago on July 30, 1953. She went to be with him as he passed 44 days ago.
Pat graduated St. Pat’s and Grand Haven High School and drove bus for Spring Lake Schools for many years. She loved game shows, Scrabble, crocheting, and crossword puzzles. Pat and Dale loved to socialize in downtown Spring Lake at St. Ann’s. She was a very good cook, and enjoyed canning.
Pat is survived by a daughter, Nicky (Mike) Windberg; three sons: Dale (Joann) Chittenden, Joe Chittenden, and Dan (Sue) Chittenden; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Geraldine Davis and Rita Lloyd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale, her son, Brad, and her older brother, Clancy of Ludington.
