Patricia Joy Fodrocy's Obituary
Mrs. Patricia Joy Fodrocy, age 67, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on November 5, 1951 to Louie and Clara (Morrison) Rozel and was a 1972 graduate of Hackley School of Nursing. Patricia was employed by Shoreline Foot and Ankle prior to her retirement in 2017. She had previously worked as a Registered Nurse for Mercy Hospital and Visiting Nurse Services. Patricia was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church where she was active in the Women’s Guild. She enjoyed knitting, reading, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. On August 25, 1973, Patricia married Denis C. Fodrocy and he survives her along with their children, Scott (Melissa) Fodrocy, Lauren (Sean) Pethers, Daniel (Jessica) Fodrocy; grandchildren, Caitlyn, Peyton, Bryce, Ely, Keaton, Benjamin, Emma; brother, Michael Feistel; and sisters, Michelle (Ron) Kozera, Marcia (Bruce) Crosswait, and Mariann (Bruce) Funnell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louie and Clara Rozel; foster parents, Robert and Nova Feistel; parents-in-law, Charles and Elizabeth Fodrocy; and niece, Mariel Funnell. VISITATION will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 E. Apple Ave., 231-726-5210 with the ROSARY prayed at 5:30 PM. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Matthew Barnum presiding. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
