Patricia Lee Garrett's Obituary
Patricia Lee Garrett age 78 of Ravenna Michigan entered Heaven's gates on July 19 2019, at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Patricia was born on November 14, 1940 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Richard P. and Edna E. (Pope) Williams. She married Brian G. Garrett on May 14, 1960 in Chualavista, Ca. she was predeceased by her loving husband of 54 years on June 9, 2015 and her parents.
Patricia was a loving mother, homemaker and received her Medical Assistant certification and worked outside of the home for 13 years caring for the elderly. One of the things she enjoyed was cooking and preparing meals for her family and friends. No one ever left the Garrett residence hungry. Her Children and Grandchildren were her life and she enjoyed spending time with everyone. She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening and volunteering For God's Closet and attending events at the Church she belonged to.
Patricia is Survived by 1 Son: Bruce R. (Carly) Garrett of Walkerville, Mi. 3 Daughters: Elaine E. (Scott) Schwaiger of Grand Rapids, Sherri (Tony} Casadonte of Muskegon and Mashele (Matt Ducharme) Arndt of Ravenna. 12 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. 2 sisters: Virginia (Gary) Kraatz of Dayton Texas and Carolyn Burcher of Santee, California. Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Cremation has taken place with a Memorial Service on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 11:00am at the First Reformed Church in Ravenna with Pastor Steve VanderWoude officiating. Burial will be in Ravenna Cemetery. The family will greet friends 1 hour prior to service.
