Patricia Ann Gorajec's Obituary
Patricia Ann “Pat” Gorajec, age 83, passed away Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence. She was born June 1, 1937 in Muskegon to George and Cecelia (Gorski) Miszewski and was a life resident of the area. On September 7, 1957, she married Henry Gorajec in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on November 12, 1983. Mrs. Gorajec was a lifelong member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. Survivors include her 4 children, Catherine (Daniel) Bennett of Irving, TX, Richard (Mary Kay) Gorajec of Grand Haven, Joanna (Steven) Trombley of Norton Shores, John (Shauna) Gorajec of Rothbury; her daughter-in-law, Paula Gorajec; 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; stepsiblings, Linda (Roger) Sloan, Diane (Ken) Korson, Steve (Dee) Horan, and David (Sue) Horan; and her many friends at Barclay Senior Village. She was preceded in death by husband, Henry; her son, Joseph; her parents and stepfather, Louis Horan; her sister, Irene Petersen; and stepsiblings, Louis Horan, Daniel Horan, Edward Horan and Patricia Kallas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church (2929 McCracken St.) with Rev. Charles D. Hall presiding. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the Mass, 10-11 AM Tuesday at the Church. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be directed to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church Memorial fund.
