Patricia Ann Hackney, 86, of Fruitport went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, September 21, 2020. She was born on March 10, 1934 in Berwyn, Illinois. She later moved to Fruitport where she married her Husband Chuck on Read Obituary
She was a very special person. She attended my wife's funeral 42 years after I was her student. She also attended my father's funeral in 2018. It was so good to see her. She cared about her students academics as well the young adults we were growing up to be.The Lord has called one of his angels home. He has a special place prepared for her. May she rest in.peace.

So sorry to hear of Pat's homegoing. But, on the other hand, so happy for Pat. There are sooo many memories of your mom...Her laughter, faithful service to those around her, her wisdom and concern... brings back so many good memories. I will treasure them always.
We will be praying for you all as you go through this very hard time.

It was a joy to play the piano with Pat playing the organ at church.
One Saturday evening we met at church to practice. we got to chatting, sharing laughter and some tears, the time slipped away and hours later we realized we had not practiced yet.
Pat loved her family dearly. She was a prayer warrior, thoughtful, loving and kind.
How we loved camping with Pat and Chuck!
Pat and Chuck are forever in our hearts. Praise the Lord they are together again! Forever!
