Patricia Ann Hogan's Obituary
Our dear and devoted mother and friend, Patricia Ann Hogan, passed away on July 19, 2023. She was the youngest of six children born to Alex & Sophia Yonkovit in Ludington, Michigan, where she grew up and graduated from high school.
On September 3, 1955, she married our father, Robert (Bob) Hogan. They shared a wonderful life full of family, great friendships with many travels in the US and abroad.
Patricia is survived by two children, Dan (Lisa) Hogan of Colorado Springs, CO, and Mary Johnson of Muskegon. They are also survived by grandson Alex Johnson of Muskegon, Michael (Shannon) Hogan of Portage, MI, James Hogan of California, grand daughter, Chelsea Zielinski-Tamalus, of Muskegon, great grandson Connor Hogan of Portage, MI, and great grand daughter, Sarah Hogan of Portage, MI. Patricia is also survived by in-laws, Ronace Hogan, Jane Aliman, Tim Johnson, many nieces and nephews as well as very special family friends, Tracy Hagen & Leo Linck, Jr.
She was predeceased by her husband, Bob Hogan, grandson John Hogan and siblings Helen Melberg, Alex "Pat" Yonkovit, Eleanor Corey, Barbara Outcalt and Lorraine Squire.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 239 W. Clay Ave, Muskegon, MI 49440, with the Rev. Fr. Kyle J. Kilpatrick presiding. Visitation will be held 4-7PM Monday at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444, where the Rosary will be prayed at 4PM. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the Mass on Tuesday at the church. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
