Patricia K. "Patsy" Hoppus' Obituary
Patricia K. “Patsy” Hoppus, age 79, passed away peacefully at her home “The Winta Pasog” on Sunday morning, December 2, 2018 with her beloved dog, Tipper Due in her arms. She was born February 24, 1939 in Grand Haven, MI to John and Lola (Pustai) Rohn, Jr. On May 13, 1960, she married Jack M. Hoppus in Nunica, MI and he preceded her in death on October 4, 2015. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. Patsy loved many sports including baseball, football and basketball. She was a fan of the Lions, Tigers, Bulls and Dennis Rodman. “Jimmy will give you 17 points.” SURVIVORS include her children, Jim (Melinda) Hoppus, Jack (Leshia) Hoppus, Jill (John) Barnes, Jody (Dave Gutierrez) Hoppus; 6 grandchildren, Jack Hoppus, Jeremy Hoppus, Kayleigh Hoppus, Hannah Hoppus, John Barnes, Jamie (Mark) Spohn; 1 brother, John (Mary) Rohn; 1 sister, Elaine (Robert) Muckey; special nieces and nephews, Jeff Muckey, Billie Joe (Katie) Muckey, Tommy Joe Muckey and Kenny Muckey; and many grand pets. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, Tom Rohn, 1 sister, Betty Woodrum, and 1 nephew, Robbie Muckey. As requested by Patsy, there will be no services planned.
